Consumer Behavior - Keurig Brewers and K-Cups:

Consumers fell in loved with the Keurig Brewers and the K-Cup. It was less costly then going to Starbucks or Peet's Coffee every day. Even if you love the others companies coffee, you could get k-cups in Starbucks or Peet's Coffee brands coffee. You can also get tea instead of coffee now. Most consumers in today’s society need to have a cup of coffee to wake them up for the day and to stay awake for the rest of the day.  The brewer is fast and you just have to put in a k-cup to make one cup of coffee, no measuring needed. You don’t have to wait in line any more (you could if you wanted too).  The first Keurig brewer, the B2000, was made for office use and launched in 1998. It started to get more powerful in 2003 once GMCR increased its ownership percentage. Consumers continue to buy Keurig Brewers and their K-Cups after all these y
ears.
